Cacao Chuncho is one of the most demanded cacaos in the world. It is a rare native, smooth yellowish cacao fruit characterized by its purity, fine delicate aroma and very fruity notes. Cacao chuncho is gifted with superb flavor, very high fat content, and low acidity and astringency. Its origins date back centuries when it was grown by the Machiguenga indigenous communities in northern Cuzco rainforest area. Cacao Chuncho trees can reach a height of up to 12 meters.
